Andy Warhol: Rorschach Painting

Many people can identify with the painting above from the cover of Jay Z’s book “Decoded”. After a trip to NYC’s Moma I was able to finally see one of Andy Warhol’s Rorschach paintings. Obviously Warhol’s inspiration on these series of works were the Rorshach test them selves. It was said Warhol hated the actually initial test, But was intrigued by their serial repetitiveness and formulaic impersonality.

He also said he never seen anything cool just a dog or something of the sort. The main goal of the paintings is for the viewer to decide what it is. The answer can’t be right nor wrong. To be honest I seen clouds and hell of a dress design! What do you see?
