Andy Warhol Monument In Union Sq NYC

Despite not being born in NY,” The father of Pop Art”…  Andy Warhol became throughout his life, one of the most linked to the city of NY. As a way to honor Andy, the city erected a statue in his honor in one of the most iconic spots of the city, placing him in Union Square. The statue resembles the artist wearing his famous Levi’s 501′s, a Brooks Brothers jacket and to close with a gold key, a Polaroid machine around his neck and a bag from Bloomingdales. The monument is located on Broadway and 17th Street
